Across the Streets of Stalingrad

So I haven't been doing a lot of gaming this summer (obviously) but I did come up with this short post for your viewing enjoyment.

This is a 25mm skirmish game across some homemade Stalingrad terrain. The rules are also homegrown. My father and I took the Soviets against some friends' Germans.

The terrain. The factory in the center will prove important.
The Soviet forces take control of the factory.
Concentrated Soviet firepower forces the Germans back.
The Soviet forces hold the catwalk and hold the Germans at bay.
Stuck at Yellow Chicken (suppressed) the Germans are helpless to contest the factory.
Eventually the German forces fall back to safety.
The Soviets won this round, but it wasn't to be over yet...
The factory became the site of a second battle later in the day.
The Germans were pushed out again after losing too much of their mass.

I can't complain much, as I won both games! I think our side had a better grasp of tactical games due to our greater experience. I do wish I had gotten more pictures, but hey, some is better than none, right?

More to come within a couple of weeks! Stay tuned!
